in recent years, technology has become an integral component of the educational landscape, profoundly transforming teaching and learning processes in modern classrooms. This paper explores the pivotal role technology plays in enhancing student engagement, which is widely recognized as a critical factor influencing academic achievement and overall learning outcomes. Student engagement encompasses behavioral, emotional, and cognitive dimensions, all of which contribute to a more effective and meaningful educational experience. The integration of technological tools such as interactive whiteboards, educational software, mobile devices, and online platforms fosters active participation, collaboration, and personalized learning opportunities. These tools not only facilitate access to diverse and authentic learning resources but also cater to different learning styles and paces, making education more inclusive and adaptive. Furthermore, technology enables real-time feedback and assessment, promoting self-regulation and motivation among learners. Despite challenges related to accessibility, teacher training, and potential distractions, the strategic use of technology in classrooms has demonstrated significant benefits in increasing student motivation, improving communication skills, and encouraging creativity and critical thinking. This paper synthesizes current research findings, case studies, and practical applications to provide a comprehensive overview of how technology can be effectively leveraged to boost student engagement. It also offers recommendations for educators and policymakers to optimize the use of technology in educational settings, ensuring that digital tools serve as facilitators of active and meaningful learning experiences. Ultimately, embracing technology in education is essential for preparing students to thrive in an increasingly digital and interconnected world.
