According to this article, the Singaporean development model is among the most sophisticated and stable examples of Asian authoritarian modernism. Through social discipline, meritocracy, and strong centralised governance, the model was able to strike a balance between economic growth and social stability. Â Particularly in light of the evolution of contemporary postcolonial cultures, the examination of this concept within the context of social philosophy is highly pertinent.
