The article discusses key endocrinological aspects of aging and their impact on longevity. With age, significant changes occur in the endocrine system, including decreased levels of sex hormones, changes in thyroid function, and other hormonal adaptations. These changes are associated with an increased risk of developing various endocrine diseases, such as type 2 diabetes, osteoporosis, and autoimmune diseases. A review of modern methods for diagnosing and treating endocrine disorders in elderly patients is also presented. The importance of a personalized approach to the management of endocrine diseases is emphasized in the context of the length and quality of life of older people. Finally, the article also considers the prospects for further research and development of new therapeutic approaches to improve the health and well-being of the elderly population.
