The article studies the influence of Bahauddin Naqshbandi doctrine on the social and spiritual development of Bukhara emirate in the 19th century, considering the views of English-speaking authors. The main focus is on the role of the Naqshbandiya doctrine in shaping the spiritual and cultural aspects of Emirati life, drawing on the works of English-speaking orientalists, travellers and historical sources.
