DIFFERENT APPROACHES TO COMPOUND SENTENCES: COMPOUND SENTENCES WITH ADVERBS OF PLACE AND PLACE SPACE

This article analyzes theoretical approaches to composite sentences, including complex sentences, particularly those with subordinate clause of place. Furthermore, the concept of "place" is examined through a linguocognitive approach, and its realization — that is, verbalization — at morphological, lexical, syntactic, phraseological, and paremiological levels of language is discussed using examples from Uzbek and English. The field structure of the concept of "place" is also revealed.
