Abstract

 The main objective of this article is to ensure that the intended meaning and effect of the oxymoronic expressions are accurately conveyed in the target language. This involves a detailed analysis of the original text to identify the specific oxymoronic expressions used and their literary context, as well as a careful consideration of the target language and its cultural and historical context. The mechanisms employed in pre-translational and translational analysis, such as literal translation, semantic translation, cultural translation, and stylistic translation, aim to capture the essence of the oxymoron and its intended effect, while also taking into account the linguistic and cultural differences between the source and target languages.
