This article provides information on the content and form, types and varieties of local history documents, including the publication of reference publications, their importance and the fact that reference publications serve not only as a primary source for readers, but also as a primary source for librarians-bibliographers in carrying out factual inquiries about the region, as well as the importance and content of reference publications published about the Namangan region, and the fact that these publications serve as a primary source for carrying out bibliographic inquiries.
