THE ROLE OF ASSOCIATIVE EXPERIENCE IN THE USE OF EXPLANATORY DICTIONARIES: BASED ON THE COGNITIVE APPROACH

This article analyzes the effectiveness of associative experience and the use of pedagogical explanatory dictionaries in acquiring English and Uzbek languages within the framework of the cognitive approach. It explores how vocabulary and phrases can be consciously acquired, memorized through associations, and conceptually interrelated using explanatory dictionaries. The study highlights the potential of cognitive mechanisms in facilitating deeper lexical understanding and retention during language learning.
