Abstract

This research report is aimed at ensuring the reliability and safety of manual control systems of vehicles specially converted for persons with disabilities. The study analyzes existing practices for testing hand control parts and proposes a comprehensive and integrated testing methodology to increase their effectiveness. This methodology includes laboratory, bench, and road tests, allowing for the assessment of such important aspects of control systems as mechanical strength, durability, wear resistance, ergonomics, and functional safety. The research results will serve to improve the certification processes of manual control systems for re-equipped vehicles, as well as to update the regulatory framework.
