Abstract

This thesis explores the role and development of lexical translation terminology within the sphere of international cooperation. In an increasingly globalized world, effective communication across languages is essential for diplomatic relations, international law, trade, and cross-cultural collaboration. Accurate translation and consistent use of terminology are crucial to prevent misunderstandings and ensure clarity in official documents, agreements, and professional discourse. The study examines key challenges in lexical translation, including semantic nuances, context-dependent meanings, and terminological standardization. It investigates strategies for compiling, categorizing, and applying specialized terms in international contexts, emphasizing the importance of linguistic precision and cultural awareness. Furthermore, the thesis analyzes the impact of modern technologies, such as computer-assisted translation (CAT) tools and online terminology databases, in supporting translators and ensuring consistency in multilingual communications.
