Abstract

This paper explores the transformative role of big data in business decision-making and organizational strategy. Big data analytics has become an essential tool for companies seeking to enhance operational efficiency, predict market trends, and personalize customer experiences. By collecting and analyzing massive volumes of structured and unstructured data, businesses can make informed, evidence-based decisions. The study examines key technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and cloud-based data lakes, as well as analytical techniques including machine learning, predictive analytics, and real-time processing. It also discusses challenges in data governance, privacy, and the skills gap in big data management. The findings highlight that organizations that effectively integrate big data into their decision-making frameworks gain a significant competitive advantage and drive innovation across industries.
