This study examines the role of international youth exchange programs in strengthening global peace by analyzing their impact on participants’ intercultural competencies, conflict resolution skills, and engagement in global citizenship initiatives. Data were collected from 500 participants aged 16–25 through surveys, interviews, and observational records, and analyzed using mixed-methods approaches. Results indicate that participants experienced significant improvements in communication, cultural awareness, teamwork, conflict resolution, and leadership. Experiential activities, cultural immersion, and collaborative projects were key factors in fostering empathy, tolerance, and cooperative attitudes. Sociodemographic factors such as prior language exposure and urban residency influenced the degree of benefit. The study concludes that youth exchange programs are effective instruments for promoting global peace by equipping young people with essential skills, fostering intercultural understanding, and creating networks of globally minded leaders.Downloads
