Abstract

The article addresses the issue of language interference in the process of learning Russian as a foreign language. It identifies the main types of interference: phonetic, lexical, grammatical, and semantic. Special attention is paid to the influence of a learner’s native language and the typical mistakes that arise from it. The article also offers methodological recommendations for overcoming interference, including phonetic training, contrastive analysis, and immersion in the language environment.
