The purpose of this study is to analyze the sportsmanship behavior of students studying in the field of physical education in relation to gender, family upbringing style, academic level, having a licensed sports background, and type of sport. The study was conducted using a descriptive research model. A total of 40 students (20 female and 20 male) participated in the research. According to the results, female students scored higher in sportsmanship behavior than male students. Students raised in families with a democratic parenting style scored higher in avoiding inappropriate behavior and adhering to sportsmanship principles than those raised with a permissive style (p<0.05). Students engaged in individual sports had higher scores in positive behavior and sportsmanship compared to those participating in team sports (p<0.05). Academic level (course year) did not significantly affect sportsmanship behavior. In conclusion, students’ level of sportsmanship may vary depending on certain variables.
