Abstract

Enamel erosion, that is, the gradual loss of some part of the enamel and dentin, causes erosion on the teeth. The exact cause is unknown. There are assumptions that it may be caused by the action of a toothbrush and toothpaste, or by the effect of wet fruit juice.
