ON THE FORMATION OF INDEPENDENT WORKING SKILLS OF STUDENTS IN TEACHING A FOREIGN LANGUAGE

This article is devoted to the formation of independent working skills of students. It substantiates the relevance of the problem of organizing independent work of students, emphasizes its high role in learning a foreign language, defines the concept of "independent work", provides examples of how to activate and develop its skills in students. The article also discusses the basic principles and methods of independent work, such as problem, Dalton plan, project method, as well as various homework techniques.
