The article analyzes the theoretical views of Malcolm Knowles, Eduard Lindeman and other scientists in the field of andragogy and shows their practical application in the modern system of training, training and continuing education. The results of the study substantiated the advantages of the andragogical approach over traditional pedagogical methods and the possibilities of implementation in modern educational institutions.
