This article explores the stages of development of social pedagogy, its theoretical and practical foundations, as well as the essence, goals, and functions of social pedagogical activity. The article analyzes the historical evolution of social pedagogy, modern pedagogical approaches, methods of working with children and adolescents in school and family environments, and the roles and responsibilities of social pedagogues. The study highlights the importance of social pedagogy in personal and societal development and its effectiveness in addressing social issues.
