This article is dedicated to the significance of the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan as a supreme legal document defining the foundations of justice, rights and obligations of citizens, as well as ensuring the stability and well-being of society. The tasks of the Constitution in the formation of the country's legal system, ensuring the protection of civil liberties and socio-economic guarantees will be considered. Special attention is paid to the influence of the Constitution on the quality of life of the population, the formation of a democratic state, in which the strengthening of the rule of law and observance of the rights and freedoms of citizens will become the foundation of progress and sustainable development.
