STRENGTHENING THE COMMUNICATIVE APPROACH IN TEACHING ENGLISH FOR THE TOURISM SECTOR: PRACTICAL EXPERIENCES AND RECOMMENDATIONS

The article analyzes the theoretical and practical aspects of strengthening the communicative approach in teaching English for the tourism sector. It presents effective methods for developing students’ professional communicative competence and preparing them for communication in real tourism environments. In addition, the article substantiates the existing practices of teaching English in higher education institutions of Uzbekistan, modern teaching methods, and proposals in accordance with the requirements of the national qualification framework.
