In the new stage of development of our country, as in all areas, the great work being done in the field of environmental protection, rational use of natural resources, and prevention of the negative impact of environmental problems on human health is a guarantee of sustainable development. The urgency of the transition to the "green" economy is explained by the fact that many crises have occurred in the existing economic systems in recent years. The concept of transition to "Green" economy in Uzbekistan in 2019-2030 includes a number of tasks. Including doubling the energy efficiency index, further developing renewable energy sources, increasing their share to more than twenty-five percent of the total volume of electricity production, providing the population and economic sectors with modern, cheap and reliable energy. provided for.
