ENHANCING THE ENGLISH ORAL COMMUNICATION SKILLS OF STUDENTS IN AGRICULTURE

This study explores effective methods for enhancing the English speaking abilities of agricultural students in higher education institutions. It examines the integration of communicative and task-based language teaching approaches within the framework of English for Specific Purposes (ESP). Particular attention is given to the application of interactive learning activities and authentic field-related materials as means of developing learners’ fluency, self-confidence, and overall communicative competence. The findings indicate that a learner-centered and professionally focused methodology significantly improves students’ speaking performance in both academic and professional settings.Abstract
