Abstract

Since gaining independence in 1991, the Republic of Uzbekistan has pursued a peace-loving, open, and pragmatic foreign policy aimed at ensuring national security, regional stability, and constructive international cooperation. In recent years, particularly after 2016, Uzbekistan’s foreign policy has undergone significant transformation characterized by openness, good-neighborliness, multilateral diplomacy, and active participation in global initiatives. This article analyzes the conceptual foundations of Uzbekistan’s peace-oriented foreign policy, its practical implementation, and the growing recognition it has received from the international community. The research is based on official policy documents, speeches of national leaders, and scholarly works by Uzbek researchers. The findings indicate that Uzbekistan’s foreign policy has become an important factor in strengthening peace, trust, and sustainable development at the regional and global levels.
