Abstract

Alisher Navoi, a 15th-century poet, philosopher, and linguist, remains a central figure in the development of Uzbek literature and culture. His works, primarily composed in Chagatai Turkic, exemplify a harmonious blend of linguistic sophistication, poetic artistry, and moral philosophy. This study explores the enduring role of Navoi’s literary contributions in contemporary literature, emphasizing their impact on language development, stylistic innovation, and thematic relevance. By analyzing his epics, ghazals, and prose, the research demonstrates how Navoi’s exploration of justice, love, ethics, and human values continues to inspire modern writers and scholars. Furthermore, Navoi’s works serve as a cornerstone of national identity and cultural heritage, while also offering opportunities for comparative and intercultural literary studies. The findings highlight the pedagogical significance of his writings, which provide both aesthetic enjoyment and intellectual guidance. Overall, Alisher Navoi’s legacy bridges classical tradition and modern literary practice, confirming his timeless relevance in shaping literary expression, cultural consciousness, and ethical reflection in contemporary society.
