Abstract

Oral cavity cancer is one of the most common malignancies affecting the head and neck region [1, 2]. Early diagnosis and effective treatment are crucial for improving patient survival and quality of life [3, 4]. This paper reviews the main risk factors, diagnostic methods, and current treatment options for oral cavity cancer [1, 2, 3]. Diagnostic approaches include clinical examination, imaging techniques, and biopsy procedures, while treatment strategies range from surgery and radiotherapy to chemotherapy and targeted therapies [4, 5, 6]. Emphasis is placed on early detection, multidisciplinary care, and advancements in therapeutic approaches to enhance patient outcomes [2, 4].
