Abstract

This scientific and pedagogical article examines the use of digital educational technologies in the process of teaching history from both theoretical and practical perspectives. The rapid digitalization of modern education necessitates a reconsideration of the content, methods, and didactic tools used in history education. The study substantiates the pedagogical potential of digital educational technologies in enhancing students’ cognitive engagement, historical thinking, and independent analytical skills. In addition, the effectiveness of digital tools in history lessons, existing challenges, and promising directions for further development are analyzed within an academic framework.
