METHODOLOGICAL AND THEORETICAL FOUNDATIONS OF HANDICRAFT ART EDUCATION IN UZBEKISTAN

This article highlights the methodological and theoretical foundations of the education system of applied (handicraft) art in Uzbekistan. It analyzes the historical experience of traditional craft schools, modern pedagogical approaches, and innovative technologies for teaching national applied art. The study reveals the role of various types of applied arts (jewelry-making, pottery, decorative painting, weaving and carpet weaving) in the educational process, the essence of the competence-based education model, as well as integrative and project-based practical approaches.
