Abstract

The article presents a study of the incidence rates of cable production workers, aimed at identifying factors affecting the health of employees and substantiating measures to improve working conditions. In the previous period, the enterprise experienced an increase in the number of diseases, which necessitated a systematic analysis of the causes and consequences. The aim of the study was to determine the incidence rate, identify occupational risks and develop recommendations for their minimization. The methodology included analysis of morbidity data, surveys and observations of work processes, as well as comparison of indicators with similar enterprises. The main results of the study showed that the highest incidence is caused by diseases of the respiratory tract and musculoskeletal system, which is associated with unfavorable working conditions and insufficient labor organization. In addition, it was found that professional factors, such as prolonged stay in static positions and exposure to harmful substances, significantly affect the health of workers. The main findings emphasize the need to implement a comprehensive program for occupational safety and health of workers, which can reduce the incidence rate and increase productivity. The contribution of this study is an in-depth understanding of the relationship between working conditions and health, as well as the development of practical recommendations for enterprises in the cable industry. Limitations of the study are related to its focus on one enterprise, which may limit the generalization of the results to other industries. However, the results have important social implications, contributing to an improvement in the quality of life of workers and the sustainable development of production.
