Abstract

 The article provides a scientific and theoretical analysis of the factors contributing to the emergence of radicalism in contemporary society, its socio-political threats, and effective methods and technologies for countering radical ideologies. The relationship between religious radicalism, fanaticism, extremism, and terrorism is examined. Based on international and regional experience, the role of state institutions, civil society, and spiritual-educational factors in combating radicalism is substantiated.
