Abstract

The article discusses the key aspects of a healthy lifestyle that can significantly accelerate the rehabilitation process after surgery. The postoperative period requires special attention to nutrition, physical activity and the psychological state of the patient. Proper nutrition with a high content of proteins, vitamins and microelements promotes tissue healing, maintains immunity and prevents inflammatory processes. Physical activity, even in gentle forms such as breathing exercises and light exercise, helps maintain circulation, prevent congestion and strengthen muscles, which is especially important for preventing complications and maintaining the body's functionality. Recovery is also closely linked to the psychological state - stress and anxiety can slow down the healing process, so stress management techniques such as meditation or relaxation play an important role. Following the principles of a healthy lifestyle before and after surgery helps to minimize the risk of complications and promotes a faster return to normal activity. This article is useful for patients, health care professionals and anyone who wants to improve their health as part of their preparation for and recovery from surgery.
