The article explores the issue of impersonal verbs, their syntactic role, and the ways of expressing impersonality; it also analyzes the general meanings of impersonal verbs. The article also examines the role of impersonal verbs in Russian literature of the 21st century, using the works of A. Ivanov as an example.
