Abstract

The development of mass sports has become an important direction of state policy aimed at improving public health, increasing physical activity, and promoting a healthy lifestyle. This study analyzes the effectiveness of state policy in the development of mass sports by examining international experience and current practices in Uzbekistan. The research is based on a review of scientific literature and a comparative analysis of sports policies implemented in different countries. The results show that effective development of mass sports depends on accessible sports infrastructure, institutional coordination, and public participation. The study also highlights the recent reforms implemented in Uzbekistan to promote sports activities among the population. It concludes that integrating international best practices with national policies can significantly enhance the development of mass sports and improve social well-being.
