Abstract

Adolescent aggression is a complex and multifaceted phenomenon that poses significant challenges to psychological, educational, and social systems. This study examines modern methods of psychological correctional work aimed at reducing aggressive behavior in adolescents. The research is based on a comprehensive analysis of contemporary theoretical frameworks and empirical findings, focusing on cognitive-behavioral therapy, emotional regulation training, and family-based interventions such as parent management training. The results indicate that integrative approaches are more effective than single-method interventions, as they address both individual psychological processes and environmental factors influencing behavior. Special attention is given to the role of emotional dysregulation, maladaptive cognitive patterns, and family dynamics in the development and maintenance of aggression. The findings also highlight the importance of social context, including peer interactions and school environment, in shaping behavioral outcomes. Furthermore, the study emphasizes the need for personalized and culturally sensitive intervention strategies, as well as the growing potential of technology-assisted therapeutic methods. Overall, the research contributes to the development of evidence-based frameworks for psychological correctional work and provides practical implications for improving intervention effectiveness and long-term behavioral outcomes among aggressive adolescents.
