Abstract

Medical English plays a crucial role in ensuring effective professional communication within the global healthcare system. As medicine becomes increasingly internationalized, healthcare professionals must possess not only clinical expertise but also strong linguistic competence in English. This thesis explores the importance of Medical English in professional settings, focusing on its role in doctor–patient interaction, interdisciplinary collaboration, and access to scientific knowledge. The study also highlights the challenges faced by non-native English-speaking professionals and suggests strategies for improving communication skills through targeted education and training.
