Abstract

This article provides information about the use of parenthetical constructions in J.K. Rowling's work "Harry Potter and the philosopher’s stone", the syntactic analysis of sentences containing insertions, and their function in a sentence. At the same time, the use of insertions in the work is illustrated and analyzed with various examples.
