This study is devoted to a comparative analysis of formal communication situations in English and Uzbek languages. It examines the linguistic features of formal speech, socio-cultural factors, and etiquette norms used in communication. The research also highlights similarities and differences in forms of address, speech etiquette, and communicative strategies in both languages. The findings of the study are significant for improving formal communication skills as well as for translation and language teaching practices.
