THE USE OF PHONETIC PHENOMENA AS A STYLISTIC DEVICE IN THE STORIES OF KHURSHID DUSTMUHAMMAD

This article highlights Khurshid Dustmuhammad’s skill in using phonetic devices to enhance emotionality and expressiveness, as well as to reveal the character’s inner experiences, psychological state, and subjective attitude in specific situations. The role of onomatopoeia and paronomasia in literary texts is examined through examples taken from Khurshid Dustmuhammad’s short stories.
