A discovery is a scientific innovation discovered or created through research, exploration, scientific inquiry, and sometimes even by chance. It is achieved through a conscious scientific understanding of natural phenomena and the laws of society. Through discovery, objective laws, properties, and phenomena of the material world that were previously unknown to humanity become known.
