Abstract

This article examines the psychological effects of family conflicts on adolescents during the process of learning a foreign language. Family environment plays a crucial role in the emotional and cognitive development of adolescents. Frequent family conflicts may lead to stress, anxiety, and decreased motivation, which negatively affect students’ academic performance and language learning abilities. The study analyzes how psychological tension within the family can influence adolescents’ concentration, motivation, and self-confidence in foreign language learning. The article also discusses the relationship between family atmosphere and adolescents’ learning motivation. A supportive and stable family environment contributes to better emotional well-being and encourages adolescents to participate actively in educational activities. In contrast, constant family disagreements and conflicts may create emotional instability that reduces students’ interest in learning and their ability to effectively acquire new knowledge and skills.

Furthermore, the study highlights the importance of psychological support from parents, teachers, and school psychologists in reducing the negative effects of family conflicts. Creating a positive learning environment and strengthening cooperation between family and educational institutions can help improve adolescents’ motivation and success in foreign language learning.
