Abstract

This article investigates the sociolinguistic dimensions of loanword adoption in contemporary English. The study analyses the social and pragmatic factors that determine the integration of borrowed words into the English lexical system. Key mechanisms of lexical borrowing are examined, including globalization, technological advancement, and intercultural communication. The article highlights the use of neologisms across various social and professional spheres and their role in language dynamics.
