Abstract

The comparative study of novels depicting the historical past of Turkestan forms the core of literary scholar Gayrat Murodov's research. This article provides a concise commentary on the scholar's study devoted to the analysis of works created in the literatures of the Central Asian peoples during the 1960s–1980s. The discussion highlights the significance of Murodov's comparative approach in exploring the artistic reflection of shared historical memory and cultural identity across regional literary traditions.
