Horizontal road markings were analyzed as an important tool in regulating traffic flow and ensuring road safety. Also, the correct application of lines on different sections of the road helps to reduce traffic, establish parking rules, and prevent accidents. As a result, longitudinal and transverse lines, together with permanent and temporary signs, clearly regulate the movement of drivers and pedestrians.
