PROSPECTS IN THE FIELD OF INNOVATIVE ECONOMY AND DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES WITH SOUTH KOREA

This study examines the prospects for developing cooperation between Uzbekistan and South Korea in the field of innovative economy and digital technologies. The research is based on a comprehensive methodological approach, including comparative analysis, system analysis, statistical evaluation, and case study methods. The study analyzes South Korea’s successful experience in building a knowledge-based and innovation-driven economy, characterized by high investment in research and development, advanced digital infrastructure, and effective integration of government, business, and academia.
The findings reveal that Uzbekistan has made significant progress in digital transformation in recent years; however, there remain challenges related to institutional coordination, technological capacity, and human capital development. The study identifies key areas of cooperation, including digital government, ICT infrastructure, innovation ecosystems, education, and startup development. Particular attention is given to the role of technology transfer, joint projects, and academic collaboration in accelerating digital transformation processes.
