Abstract

This article discusses the development and improvement of the banking system in our national economy since the independence period. The author explains the measures undertaken to enhance the financial stability of the banking system in Uzbekistan, increase the capitalization levels of commercial banks, and implement reforms in the banking sector. Additionally, the article highlights the growth of total bank capital, the active mobilization of deposits from the population and economic entities, the improvement of service quality, and efforts to fund investment projects, as well as provide credit to small businesses and private entrepreneurship entities. These initiatives are analyzed in the context of advancing the development of the banking system.
