THE IMPACT OF ANXIETY LEVELS IN PRESCHOOL CHILDREN ON COGNITIVE DEVELOPMENT

This article analyzes the impact of high anxiety levels on the cognitive development of preschool children based on existing theoretical sources. By examining scientific perspectives in psychology and reviewing diagnostic approaches such as the Spielberger–Hanin Anxiety Scale, the Lüscher Color Test, and Luria’s memory methodology, an analytical-practical model is proposed to describe how anxiety affects attention, memory, and thinking processes. This model provides a theoretical foundation for early identification of anxiety in preschoolers and offers insights for strengthening emotional stability and supporting cognitive development through evidence-based psychological strategies.
