Abstract

This article analyzes the impact of ideological threats on the socio-political and cultural life of modern society from an analytical perspective. The study examines ideological threats not only as direct political propaganda, but also as complex social, cultural, informational, and psychological influences that affect public consciousness, civic behavior, national identity, and moral values. In the context of globalization and rapid digital communication, ideological threats are increasingly spread through mass media, social networks, online communities, entertainment content, and manipulated information. These threats may weaken social trust, create political polarization, distort historical memory, reduce respect for national values, and negatively influence the worldview of young people. The article pays special attention to the relationship between ideological threats and socio-political stability. It argues that destructive ideological narratives can undermine confidence in state institutions, intensify conflicts among social groups, and weaken civic responsibility. At the same time, the cultural dimension of ideological threats is considered highly significant, since culture preserves national identity, traditions, language, historical memory, and moral norms. The study also highlights the vulnerability of young people to ideological manipulation, especially in the digital environment where misinformation, extremist ideas, cyberbullying, and harmful cultural models can spread quickly. The article emphasizes that ideological threats cannot be prevented only through restriction or prohibition. Instead, effective protection requires a comprehensive approach based on media literacy, critical thinking, civic education, moral upbringing, cultural awareness, and the development of ideological immunity. The study concludes that a society with educated citizens, responsible media, strong moral values, reliable institutions, and developed critical thinking skills is more capable of resisting destructive ideological influences while remaining open to global cooperation, innovation, and cultural dialogue.
