METHODS AND TOOLS TO REDUCE STRESS IN CHILDREN UNDER 7 YEARS OF AGE

This article provides a scientific analysis of psychological, pedagogical, social and hygienic foundations for reducing stress in children under the age of seven. Early childhood is interpreted as a crucial developmental stage in which emotional security, communication, self-regulation and social adaptation skills are formed. At this age, prolonged fear, family conflict, excessive disciplinary pressure, unstable daily routines, overuse of digital devices, violence or emotional neglect may negatively affect a child’s psycho-emotional development. The article discusses secure attachment, warm and consistent communication, elements of play therapy, fairy-tale therapy, art and music activities, breathing and relaxation exercises, sensory-integrative approaches, physical activity, contact with nature, sleep and nutrition hygiene, and cooperation between parents and educators as the key tools for stress reduction.
