HOW CRITICAL THINKING IMPROVES ACADEMIC SUCCESS

Critical Thinking has become one of the most important competencies in modern education. It enables students to analyze information, evaluate evidence, solve problems, and make informed decisions. In higher education, critical thinking directly contributes to academic achievement by improving comprehension, research skills, communication, and independent learning. This article examines the role of critical thinking in academic success and discusses pedagogical approaches for its development. The study concludes that integrating critical thinking into university teaching significantly enhances students’ intellectual growth and academic performance.
