Abstract

This article investigates the operational characteristics of filter elements manufactured from metal powder for oil filters used in internal combustion engines. A comparative analysis of the filtration efficiency, hydraulic resistance, mechanical strength, and thermal resistance of filter elements produced by the vibration pressing method with conventional paper filters was carried out. Regeneration methods — thermal, ultrasonic, and chemical — were studied, and their efficiency was evaluated.
