Abstract

This article examines the significance of international experiences in the development of leadership competencies and the issues of their application to national management practices. The study analyzes advanced approaches to training leaders and enhancing their professional potential in countries such as the United States, the European Union, South Korea, and Japan. Based on competency-based approach theory, transformational leadership concepts, and principles of continuous professional development, the article develops scientific and practical recommendations for adapting international models to the conditions of Uzbekistan. The practical significance of the research findings lies in the fact that the proposed approaches can serve to fundamentally improve the quality of leadership in educational institutions, public administration bodies, and private sector organizations.
